Of the many characters who never played by James Franco, the only one that really so tough challenge for an actor born in Palo Alto, California. His role as Aron Ralston in the film 127 HOURS is the role he meant. Why? Because there are bloody scenes in this film while James was afraid of blood.
"The role was really hard emotionally and physically. I had to very heavy role before and I guess this will not differ much. But when I had arrived on the scene, I lost control," said James Franco as quoted by Splash News. What is meant James Franco this is the scene when Aaron had to cut his own hand that had rotted due to wound infections.
"Actually I have a problem with blood, just in my hand, I am afraid to see blood on my hands," explained James Franco shyly. So if the audience saw the expression on James Franco's face is full of appreciation during this scene, it was not because of acting. James was absolutely terrified.
James Franco also suggests that viewers could not see that scene just to close their eyes when that scene comes. "Do not be shy, it never hurts to close my eyes. Aron takes 40 minutes to cut his hands, so what is disclosed Danny [Boyle] in this movie includes very short," he explained
